About ProofRank

Understand your website. Know what to improve.

Website intelligence that connects clear findings with practical next steps.

Why ProofRank exists

Understanding a website should not start with a wall of unexplained numbers. ProofRank brings supported technical observations into one readable report, so you can see what needs attention, inspect the evidence, and choose a practical next step.

Our aim is to make website quality easier to understand for the people building websites and the people discovering them. That means explaining what a check found, being clear about what it could not measure, and keeping the next action close to the finding.

Who it is for

ProofRank is for independent makers, website owners, developers, and teams who want a clearer starting point for improving a public website. You do not need to be an SEO specialist to read a report, and you can inspect individual findings when you need more technical detail.

Visitors can also explore eligible published projects through Discover, categories, and rankings. A public profile helps explain a project; a private report helps someone work on its website. Neither is a substitute for deciding whether a product fits your own needs.

What a website check tells you

A check looks at supported signals across SEO, accessibility, performance, security, privacy, and reliability. These include details such as page metadata, public markup, response behavior, and delivery protections. Each report reflects the evidence available during that check.

The scanner uses bounded requests to public resources. It does not sign in to the target website or submit its forms. A blocked request or unavailable signal is a limit on the evidence, not permission to guess what is behind it.

An on-page check is not a complete accessibility review, penetration test, or real-user performance study. Use it to identify useful questions and improvements, then validate important changes with the appropriate tools and expertise.

From evidence to a better decision

Start with a finding, read the observation behind it, and consider the suggested next step in the context of your website. After making a change, run another check to see what the new response shows. Where suitable comparable scans exist, owner tools can help you review supported technical changes.

The ProofRank Score summarizes supported measurements using a published methodology. It is not a guarantee of search placement, traffic, safety, or business results. Dates and evidence matter more than treating one score as a permanent verdict.

Private analysis and public discovery

Analyzing a website creates a private report; it does not automatically put that website into public search or rankings. Access to an anonymous report is issued to the requesting browser. Your account workspace and review correspondence are not public discovery pages.

Publishing a project follows a separate process: submit its details, review any website suggestions, and follow the editorial review. Technical eligibility and publication requirements still apply. Claiming a published profile is another distinct step that verifies control of the domain.

A workspace for website owners

Your workspace brings together account settings, project submissions, and supported tools for sites you have verified. It helps keep a review request, an ownership claim, and a website report in their proper context rather than treating them as interchangeable actions.

Website suggestions are a starting point, not an automatic rewrite of your project. You can keep your own name and description, review alternatives found on the site, and edit the details before submitting them.

What is available, and what comes next

ProofRank is being developed in a preview environment. Current work includes private website checks, reviewed public discovery, project submissions, ownership verification, and account tools. Availability is shown in the product; a planned feature is not an active service.

Verified owners can prepare an AI Visibility prompt plan, but saving questions does not run an AI visibility measurement. Connected search analytics, external backlink data, and live AI mention or citation data are not available in this preview.

AI Crawlability is planned as a separate owner feature for understanding technical crawler access and discovery. It will not be presented as proof that an AI system mentions or recommends a website. Pro and Spotlight are planned paid options; checkout is not open in the current preview.

Help improve ProofRank

Useful feedback is specific: tell us which page you used, what you expected, and what happened instead. For a questionable finding, include the affected public website and enough context to understand the difference. For an accessibility barrier, describe the interaction that prevented you from continuing.

Report a problem is the shared route for bugs, incorrect information, ownership concerns, and privacy requests. Keep passwords, recovery codes, access tokens, and private customer data out of your message. Your report opens a case for review rather than posting a public comment.
